Meta Warns Investors About Mark Zuckerberg’s BJJ & MMA Hobbies

According to Calfkicker.com, Meta Platforms Inc. has issued a caution to its investors in the latest Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing – pointing out the potential dangers Mark Zuckerberg faces from his involvement in high-risk activities.

The document, part of Meta’s comprehensive 10-K filing for 2023, outlines various risk factors; including the CEO’s liking for adventurous hobbies such as hydrofoiling, mixed martial arts (MMA), and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), which pose a “risk of serious injury and death”.

Zuckerberg’s passion for combat sports was shown last November, when he suffered a torn ACL during a training session.
He even shared a picture of himself being in the hospital bed, with a cast on his leg:

Beyond martial arts, Zuckerberg’s interests extend to surfing and aviation.
His pursuit of a pilot’s license, confirmed by Federal Aviation Administration documents, further underscores his liking for high-adrenaline activities.

The SEC filing categorizes Zuckerberg’s endeavors into “combat sports, extreme sports, and recreational aviation”, emphasizing the potential repercussions any accidents in these areas could have on Meta’s operational stability.
