Kron Gracie Teaches Jiu-Jitsu To Professional Rugby Players In Australia

 

2013 ADCC champion Kron Gracie was last month in Australia visiting his father’s black belt Jason Roebig.

Jason Roebig runs the Axis Jiu-Jitsu academy and is also the defensive contact coach of the Australian rugby team the Gold Coast Titans.

Kron trained the rugby players in the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu and rugby have a lot in common since both are hard contact sports. Kron finds that Jiu-Jitsu translates well to rugby and vice versa. 

“Jiu-Jitsu is an experience between you and your body. With it, we know what angles gives in to stay strong, as well as establish a base .. You can better understand your body.

The more knowledge you have, the better you will be able to do. Jiu-Jitsu is so complex that it uses all the muscles and allows the person to be conscious about moving your body the right way. “
