Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion, recently shared a memorable moment with none other than the Brazilian football legend Ronaldo…
And, well, Ronaldo reminisced about a moment from 2015 – when Anderson Silva made a “prophetic” prediction about Nurmagomedov.
Ronaldo says that he was with Silva in May 2015, at UFC 2015, and that the “Spider” said that the Russian would be the “best fighter of all time”:
I was in Las Vegas and Anderson Silva told me… He (Khabib) hadn’t become all that yet.
But Anderson told me: “He’s going to be the best fighter of all time.”
Nurmagomedov promptly returned the compliment – praising Ronaldo’s extraordinary record with Barcelona:
You played 49 games for Barcelona and scored 47 goals. I understand numbers very well.
