Davies’ unprecedented journey began back in 2018, when she became the first European competitor to win a gold medal at the event.
This victory paved the way for other European grapplers like Adam Wardzinski and Tommy Langaker, who followed in her footsteps.
Davies continued her winning streak by securing a second IBJJF No-Gi World Title in 2021, becoming the first European to win the event multiple times.
