Since winning the Brazilian trials for the ADCC in 2003, Fabricio Werdum has become one of the biggest names in the tournament. In his first participation in the edition that took place in São Paulo, he got the silver medal. In 2005, back in the biggest tournament in the world of grappling, Werdum was third.
