Car-Jitsu Match Goes Wrong As Grappler Gets Leg Cut By Broken Windshield

Car-Jitsu is a… Unique sport. And make no mistake about it – it’s incredibly fun to watch.
The sport has two competitors seated in the driver’s and passenger’s seats, fastened with a seatbelt at the start of the match. When the timer starts, an all-out BJJ battle begins.

However, due to its unique setting, it’s not rarely the case that weird situations take place in Car-Jitsu.
For example, a recent competition saw an unfortunate turn of events as one of the competitors got his leg cut by a broken windshield.

It was a match between Svyatoslav Kovalenko and Arbi Emiyev.
Kovalenko had Emiyev in an attempted Guillotine Choke, but then his opponent lifted him up and – as the car’s top was open – slammed him overhead and into the windshield.

The match went on for a few more seconds, until the event’s organizers put a stop to it.
Kovalenko can then be seen walking around with a cut leg.
