“I think the organizers only think about profit and never think of the wellfare of athletes. This doesn’t inspire the guys to train hard. It is not easy to be a champion without having money to pay even for registrations, “he said.
About this controversial subject, Braga Neto declined to go into more detail about what bothers him so much in Jiu-Jitsu competitions, since his career took a different direction and is no longer in the gentle art.
“I’ll be honest: to criticize without being able to contribute to an improvement is not my type. Thus I prefer to escape a bit from Jiu-Jitsu and focus on MMA which is giving me the chance to change the lives of my family “.
