ADXC 2: Pedro Ramalho & Max Lindblad Headline The Jiu-Jitsu Co-Main Event

As we get closer and closer to January 19th, the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC) unveils more of the fights we’ll be seeing at the tournament’s second edition.

This time around, the Jiu-Jitsu Co-Main Event has been revealed, with Pedro Ramalho and Max Lindblad donning their gis and making their way to the UAE’s Mubadala Arena to fight for glory at the famous ADXC cage.

Pedro Ramalho, also known as “Paquito”, is a Portuguese black belt who made waves in Abu Dhabi last November, during the ADWPJJC 2023.
In the 77kg division, Ramalho went through the bracket like a freight train, submitting every opponent on his way to the final, in which he triumphed over ADWPJJC 2022 champion Lucas Protasio to become the reigning champion.

With his technical know-how and his powerful guard game, Pedro is a strong contender to emerge as the winner on the ADXC battlefield.

Considered one of the best European black belts of his division, Max Lindblad took it upon himself to further the reach of the gentle art in his homeland of Sweden, acting as a head coach at Stark Jiu-Jitsu.
Outside of teaching, Lindblad is also a fierce competitor who made appearances at both ADGS London and the ADWPJJC 2023, defeating the likes of Lucas Protasio and Espen Mathiesen on AJP mats.

Does he have what it takes to succeed at the merciless ADXC cage? Only time will tell.

In addition to the duel between Pedro Ramalho and Max Lindblad, the ADXC2 will also feature a Grappling Main Event headlined by Aljamain Sterling and Chase Hooper, a Jiu-Jitsu Main Event led by Bruno Lima and Manuel Ribamar, another Co-Main Event, and ten more duels that will bring the attending crowd to their feet at the Mubadala Arena.
