2x ADCC Yuri Simoes champion was recently in Croatia where he trained with MMA superstar Mirko Cro Cop.
With plans to move to MMA in the near future, Yuri is already sharpening up his MMA training.
Yuri stated:
I remember waking up early in the morning many times to watch this legend fight back on the Pride FC times. At that time I was just a young dreamer, and a beginner in jiujitsu, I’ve always wanted to meet and take a picture with this guy. Well, last night this dream came true, I feel honored to be able to train, and learn some tricks from the living Legend Mirko “Crocop” Filipović, one of the greatest names in the history of Martial Arts and MMA.
