Can you imagine playing a game of one on one basketball with Lebron James? Probably imposable for the average basketball practitioner. The great thing about the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is that if you really wanted to train with your idols, you could. This amazing camp happened this year for the fourth time. Many people didn’t believe that such elite stars could come together in one mega summer BJJ camp, but it happened and it was Epic!
The camp is the brainchild of Augusto Frota, of Frota Academy in Switzerland. Frota is one of the most influential people in Jiu-Jitsu, being president of the Swiss BJJ federation and involved in various BJJ/MMA projects all over the world.
Frota is also the organiser of the Mackenzie Dern camp in Barcelona.
The camp was limited to 20 participants only .
It was 5 days of exclusive Brazilian jiu-jitsu training with the World’s Best on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Ibiza.
It was held in Ibiza for VIP access to three of the World’s Best BJJ competitors: Marcus Buchecha, Rodolfo Vieira and Felipe Pena.
Participants received unprecedented access to the best jiu-jitsu in the world, all while training in the luxurious surroundings of one of Ibiza’s trendiest and most elegant resorts.
Training took place in a sophisticated studio specifically designed for physical activities.
