When prompted about tips and advice to achieve fit lfiestyle Holloway said:
“ Practice jiu jitsu if you want to lose weight. You’ll actually learn a different lifestyle. There’s a jiu jitsu lifestyle way which is pretty cool and pretty healthy, too…I see people losing about 40 pounds in six months. They (also) train their eating habits outside jiu jitsu for sure.””
He added some more dieting advice- “One tip is to portion size. People try to jump on it but they start falling back. You got to slow it down. Maybe eat a little less junk food and drink a gallon (of water) every day; and then from there, when you are into eating less, then you can put eating more healthy stuff. Work slow. People try to dive in, and start coming back at the shallows. Don’t dive in. Go slow; move slow for it. Don’t quit cold turkey.”
