The thing with Jiu-Jitsu is… You can have the best technique, but if your timing is off – you won’t make it. And, likewise, you can have the worst technique, but if your timing is on point – you can make it work.
In other words, timing is as important as your techniques. For example, if you’re looking to defend against the Knee Cut Pass, then there’s this one moment when (if your opponent doesn’t have the underhook) you can create space – and reguard.
