In a startling twist at day 2 of Europeans Kennedy Maciel, also known to many as Cobrinha Jr is Out.
The Alliance purple belt is the reigning Europeans champion, having won the competition last year without too much trouble.
Maciel told flograppling:
“I don’t know, he scored early and I just couldn’t get it back. I thought I had him at the end there but he was really strong, he defended well,” says Maciel.
