Rodolfo Vieira will soon be making his debut in the ring. The 2015 ADCC champion has been quite dedicated to honing in his MMA skills, and with a good reason – he’s set to debut in early 2017.
Rodolfo Vieira will be part of the Real Fight Championship promotion – based out of Japan. He told flograppling:
“We’re figuring out the date now, it’s a Japanese event [Real Fight Championship] in January or February and the opponent is a Serbian guy if I’m not mistaken. He has about five or six fights.”
As for if we can expect to see him on the bjj scene again soon he said:
“No, while I’m doing jiu-jitsu I won’t fight MMA. Unless I see that MMA is not for me, which I don’t think will happen, I can think about going back to jiu-jitsu. But while I’m doing MMA, no.”
