Rafael Lovato Set to Duel ADCC Vet John Salter In Bellator Bout

 

 

Rafael Lovato Jr is one of the very few non Brazilians to have won the bjj worlds.

Following Latest Success Rafael Lovato Jr. Believes The Title Isn’t Far

The ADCC vet now set his aims on another ADCC 2017 competitor – John Salter. Lovato Jr returns to the Bellator cage on April 28th at Bellator 198 in a middleweight contest.

 

While Lovato ended his ADCC journey after a decision loss to Felipe Pena and a subsequent bronze to Jackson Sousa, Salter was in the 88 kg division and lost to Xande Ribeiro in round 1.

Lovato is currently 7-0 in MMA while Salter is 15-3 in MMA. Salter is a former UFC fighter, 32 years old – just 2 less than the 34 year old Lovato Jr.

Salter last fought in mma defeating Jason Radcliffe in November with a 1st round submission.
