Nicholas Meregali Challenges Himself – Tells Fans To Choose Which Submission To Hit On Felipe Pena

Nicholas Meregali seems to have never been shy to share his opinion. And, well, he didn’t shy away from it now either…
As he has challenged himself by asking fans to choose a submission which he’ll hit on Felipe Pena – in their match at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5!

Here is what he said:

I’m confused about which technique I should apply on Pena this Sunday. I’m considering two options, one because it’s easier and one because it looks great.

Hitting a “rear naked choke” is very simple because Pena will try to scramble against me and I can take his back and finish him easily.
Juji gatame (arm bar) is my favorite submission and I can apply it from both mount or back take.

Leave your comment below with the sub I must finish Pena.

Meregali has been calling out Pena repeatedly in the previous weeks, criticizing his swimming training as well:

The main event is possibly going to be a race between me and him, or swimming 100 meter freestyle or any other activity that isn’t Jiu Jitsu, I’m confused.
