Nicholas Meregali Announces His Plans for the Future

Nicholas Meregali is undoubtedly a top competitor on the global stage of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The reigning BJJ World Champion and multi-medalist in grappling events will compete in his next match on December 10th at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5 gala. His opponent will be a titled fighter as well, Felipe Pena.

One week prior to the event, Meregali reflected on his decision to turn professional, discussed a previous knee injury, and outlined his plans for the future. The Brazilian athlete also touched on the concept of continual development in jiu-jitsu, as the “path” is never truly complete. Despite achieving the absolute highest levels of success, Nicholas remains able to identify areas for self-improvement and technical aspects of his game that could be refined further.
