“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:4-6 NKJV In victory or in loss, the purpose remains the same. It is to glorify the Lord no matter what. ☝🏼 this may not be the color that I aimed for and worked for but grateful still because I know that this is the Lord’s plan, and there’s always a reason and a lesson when things don’t turn out as expected and as hoped. ❤️ Rest assured, all mistakes will be addressed, all holes filled. Not just in my jiujitsu game but in my entire life as well. Experiences like this only keep the fire burning even more intensely. 🔥 Thank you to my coaches carlo pena, @ralphgojj, hansel co for all the guidance and help throughout! Thank you to coach @alisulit for coaching me during my matches! Thank you to my teammates in jjfp especially my partner in my division, bday celebrant and international heartthrob @kailanapolis! Thank you as well to my teammates and training partners back home for constantly pushing me to be better! Thank you so much to my parents and their friends for coming all the way from the PH to watch me! Thank you as well to my friends and family for always understanding and for still always supporting despite my lack of presence! Special thanks to my sponsors @underarmourph @hyperfly @hyperflyasia @anytimefitnessphilippines #nlexcorp @sanctbandclubph @sportsandspinalph @nutrifitph for backing me up win or lose! And to the most important, my ultimate Source and Reason, thank You, Lord Jesus for all of this! Lord God, You are the ultimate Orchestrator in whom I trust completely whatever the circumstance. I give my all in all for You, because of You and with You. All for the Philippines. 🇵🇭 All for the children that need us.❤️ All for the glory of God.☝🏼 #fighttoprotect Photo by @asiangames2018
But she’s also very dedicated to making a difference with sexual abuse victims in Philippines where that number is shockingly big. Nearly one in four Filipino youth aged 13-24 experience a form of sexual violence, according to Unicef.
Ochoa launched Fight to Protect, an anti-child sexual abuse advocacy campaign in October of 2018.
