Leandro Lo Looking To Conquer Europeans As A Heavyweight

It’s looking like it’s been an especially heavy duty Christmas over at the Lo household. The celebrated competitor will be moving up a category in the latest tournament.

Leandro Lo has moved around plenty of divisions often competing with those heavier then him. He’s conquered Copa Podio in 2016 – as a lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight!

But looks like Lo will we tackling a new feat given that he’s previously often competed as Peso Leve (76kg-167lbs), Médio (82kg/181lbs), Meio Pesado (88kg/194lbs) (source: bjjheroes.com). As a Heavyweight he’ll be at the 94.3kg / 208lb weight line!

One possible reasoning for this decision may be that two of his teammates have entered medium heavyweight – Matheus Spirandeli and Vinicius Carvalho.
