Leandro Lo has been on a serious tear this year. His strength and determination are reaching whole new levels. He’s already won 2 double golds this year at Europeans and at Pan ams!
Leandro Lo has moved around plenty of divisions often competing with those heavier then him. He’s conquered Copa Podio in 2016 – as a lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight!
But looks like Lo is ready for another new feat – the IBJJF Grand Prix! He’s previously often competed as Peso Leve (76kg-167lbs), Médio (82kg/181lbs), Meio Pesado (88kg/194lbs) (source: bjjheroes.com). As a Heavyweight he’ll be at the 94.3kg / 208lb weight line!
There he will have a chance to square off against quite a few beasts – Marcus Buchecha, Andre Galvao and Roger Gracie were already announced.
Here’s Lo beside the reigning IBJJF Pro Heavyweight Grandprix Champ Buchecha!
It will be trully interesting to see this tournament! Tournament will be happening August 24th – same weekend as Master World inside Evexia Fit Fest August 24/25/26, 2017 Las Vegas Convention Center.
