Here’s some basic guidelines to make yourself disease free on the mats:
Don’t make anyone suffer through something you wouldn’t be comfortable with meaning shower, brush teeth and try to be generally presentable. Nobody wants to grapple a homeless looking fella.

Always shower after training. The perfect post-gym routine is easier said than done. But how you handle those 30 minutes immediately following a sweat session is just as important as the workout.

Wash your gear as soon as possible

No shirt no shoes no rolling! No shoes on the mat, and no being barefoot off the mat sounds simple enough but surprising amount of people completely disregard it.

A gym should clean the mats after every block of classes. If there is enough time between classes for the mats to dry, they should be cleaned.

Here’s some basic things you can do to prevent being affected:
Use dandruff shampoo as body wash. Presence of selenium in this type of shampoo is surprisingly great as an anti fungal

Remember to towel off. By remaining damp you’re helping cultivate a bacterial infection

Some people swear by Acidophilus as a way to boost the good bacteria in your body to fight against bad invaders. Among other things this supplement May Help Prevent and Reduce Cold and Flu Symptoms

If you are diagnosed with ringworm, it is only polite to contact any training partners you recently trained with.

If you suspect you have a staph infection, see a doctor as soon as possible.

You should not share personal hygiene items such as towel, razors and soaps with others.

Always wear loose fitting clothes to allow skin to breathe.

Wear clean shoes.

Know how to safeguard your skin from the battlefield – mats.

Wear cotton clothes or clothes made from synthetic fibers that keep the sweat away from the skin.

After the session is over, take a shower immediately. If you don’t have time to shower, use body wipes to clear your skin.

Do not touch the infected part of your skin

Consult a physician or trainer immediately you notice the infection.
