Jon Jones Calls Out Ortiz To Grapple, Danis Lashes Out At Jones

Jon Jones has been all over the social media trying to make the time of his suspension fly by. In addition to landing himself grappling gigs at Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground against Dan Henderson and Dillon Danis –  he’s looking to branch out to the freshly retired Tito Ortiz.

Of course all of this didn’t come out of nowhere – Oritz indeed minds that Jones is considered one of the greats of mma:

“He says he is the greatest, he was never the greatest,” Ortiz said to MMAMania “He’s never done anything. He says he calls himself a legend. What kind of legendary stuff has he ever done? Nothing.”

Not surprisingly, Jones was quick to fire back.

“I guarantee he would bow down if given the opportunity to face me,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “That man better enjoy his JV victory and stay in his lane, I’d make him look like a white belt.”

Meanwhile his current SUG 3 opponent the McGregor attached Dillon Danis minds the shifting focus and isn’t afraid to sling some insults towards a 3rd party – former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub:

Of course Danis has been increasingly adopting the McGregor style of interacting so it’s unclear just how serious he’s about any of this.
