Garry Tonon is the reigning EBI light heavyweight champion having secured the title after filling in for Gordon Ryan and subsequently out-strategizing Vinny Magalhaes.
However what many might not have anticipated is Garry’s announcement that he will be doing Combat Jiu-Jitsu at the next event.
It’s confirmed I’m doing combat JJ at @EBIJJOFFICIAL, I promise 0 Submissions and all tko’s via slaps.

EBI official account made no announcements just yet however Bravo did confirm that the next event will be Eddie Bravo Invitational – Absolute division and that there’s quite a bit of interest. He said as much on the Joe Rogan Experience recently.
Win lose or draw this certainly has drawing power. After all just a few months ago Tonon and Kim Terra exchanged verbal barbs prior to the fight only to mockingly play slap at each other during the actual no limit fight during 540 studio Challenge: Gordon Ryan vs Felipe Pena
Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
