Fight To Win Pro 24 just finished. The event was originally meant to feature Garry Tonon vs Gabriel Arges and AJ Agazarm vs Bill Cooper but in a strange twist several days prior to event it was said Gi clad Tonon will be battling AJ Agazarm.

The main event ended up being all about the imitative and in the end Garry Tonon was awarded the decision victory. In spite of not really training all that seriously in the gi for quite a while (as per John Danaher) Tonon held his own and in the end managed to secure a victory.

The match started without the usual fist bump exchange. Both tried passing the guard very early on. Tonon didn’t shy away from moving to work in a kneebar attempt but Agazarm wouldn’t budge.

After that Tonon worked through a lot of great transitions attempting his usual. Agazarm held him off but in the end failed to capitalize on securing the muont position
