Cris Cyborg Will Leave UFC If They Don’t Create A New Division

Cristiane Justino aka Cris Cyborg is ready to part ways with the UFC if they don’t work on finding her suitable opponents.

Cyborg made her debut way back at UFC 198 when she demolished Leslie Smith in round 1. Some time later she handled Lina Linsberg but both bouts were followed with difficult weight cuts.

Here’s a snap of Cyborg boxing sparring with another giant – Gabi Garcia!

Now Cyborg has told Peruvian website El Comerico:

“The main thing is that I have two fights left in my division. I’m going to stay in my division, and see if the UFC opens up my division, or if they don’t do it, I’m going to leave.”

In addition to this Cyborg is open to negotiations with Rizin and Bellator once her UFC contract expires:

“I’ll keep fighting so that hey open more divisions,” Cyborg said. “If I don’t have a division in the UFC, I’m going to go to another company like Rizin or Bellator or another organization where they have my division. I’ll keep fighting for that.”

Looks like Cyborg vs Rousey won’t be happening any time soon, if ever!
