Buchecha Wins by Heel Hook in Rd 1 at ONE, Pays Tribute to Deceased Leandro Lo

He did it. August 26 (Friday) marked the date of Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida’s biggest MMA career test so far, as he faced Kirill Grishenko – the former ONE Championship interim title challenger – at ONE on Prime Video 1.

Buchecha won by heel hook in 65 seconds of round 1 and dedicated his victory to Leandro Lo who passed away recently.

Even though he has just three fights in his young MMA career, there’s a good chance that Buchecha could find himself in a heavyweight title fight after beating Grishenko.
