Buchecha is fresh off his comeback at Mundials and 40,000$ richer post IBJJF Grand Prix but he cannot stand still. After a number of years with Hayabusa, he has switched to Shoyoroll.
Earlier today he announced:
“After several years of sponsorship with Hayabusa, the time has come for me to move on. I can’t thank Hayabusa enough for placing their trust and confidence in my ability to represent their company.
It has been an honor to wear the Hayabusa brand through my many battles on the mat. I wish Hayabusa the best of luck and continued success in the future!”
He accompanied the posting with a picture of himself sporting their grear:
At the same time Shoyoroll Europe facebook page changed it’s profile picture to a headshot of Buchecha.
Marcus Almeida Buchecha joins a growing list of outstanding bjj players to be sponsored by Shoyoroll. Among them are Mendes Brothers, Miyao Brothers, Gezary Matuda, Dominkya Onbelynte, Dillon Danis, Gianni Grippo and others.
Buchecha announced his new allegiance in a separate posting:
“It’s with a huge pleasure and really happy now I can say I am 100% part of the @shoyoroll family, Since when I got here in California in 2009 I have been around with this guy and since that time we became good friends and besides of any sponsorship or something like that I have always been a big fan of the brand and of all the great work that he has done with the brand all these years And after all he still the same great person that he was since that time until nowadays , finally after a couple years today it became official, proud to became part of the family and ready to represent for now on, thank you very much @bearsyr for trust in my work and that’s just the beginning of a great partnership.”
