AJ Agazarm Set To Fight Vagner Rocha in An Attempt To Settle Score

Fight To Win Pro has booked a very exciting match for the latest edition of the event – this time based in Tampa, Florida on October the 1st.

Both fighters are residents of Florida and have in fact dueled before and much to the chagrin of viewers there’s plenty of unsettled scores.

The issue between ADCC competitor Rocha and Gracie Barra’s esteemed Agazarm stems from this match:

The match above was posted by Vagner Rocha on facebook following hearing about AJ Agazarm’s comments regarding their match – it’s widely believed AJ said something along the lines of Rocha being unknown.

The competitive match in question left a sour taste in Agazarm‘s mouth. Here’s how it exploded out in a unparalleled rivalry:

Of course neither of these two can be characterized as phlegmatic – AJ Agazarm‘s beefs have been wildly publicized. There was that whole Metamoris mess, but as if that wasn’t enough AJ advanced the action and took over the instagram leading to a questionable exchange involving individuals who may or may not be Ralek pretending to be in the FBI. Of course you can still catch Metamoris 7 at the price of 0$ curtesy of AJ Agazarm

Oh and of course the Slappening against Jake Shields in recent Polaris edition.

And Vagner Rocha had his very own Gordon Ryan beef. On his quest to defeat God, Mr Ryan sparred no expense and a video calling Rocha chicken was wildly publicized. You can read all about that here.

Rocha said to flograppling when the match was announced:

“AJ is an opponent I don’t care too much for,” says Rocha. “I have known him for over 10 years from the competition scene and we have fought many times before but I’m not sure if we’ll ever get along. I want to get in there and shut him down, do my game and get the submission.”

Agazarm had these words for Rocha:

“The time has come to close up accounts with an old enemy and bring order to the universe by laying him low. Fight To Win 14 marks the end of Vagner Rocha’s journey as a top-level jiu-jitsu practitioner, and the next victory on my quest for grappling immortality.”

Fight To Win Pro 14 goes down on October 1, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. You can watch the live stream on FloGrappling.
