Over at ACB 13 Marcos Almeida Buchecha won the over 95 kg gi belt. He took the belt away from Joao Gabriel Rocha who was determined to give Buchecha the toughest match of his career. For much of the match it was exactly like that as the two were even. However in round 4 something peculiar happened on the very start.
So as you can see the two bump fists – however Rocha then goes to wipe sweat of his head and generally looks like his concentration is down. Buchecha seizes the opportunity and pounces. In the end – Rocha ended up refusing to bump fists to the very end and was very visibly shaken down by results.
At one point Rocha’s gi even ripped so he was forced to go looking for an alternate. A sleeve literally ripped from it.
