I first learned of Power Breathing from Pavel Tsatsouline. Power Breathing is a technique used to get the most out of your neuro-muscular system by increasing intra-abdominal pressure.
Pavel teaches Power Breathing during strength exercises like presses and deadlifts but you can use it for almost anything including BJJ submissions.
