Abu Dhabi has been the host of another great event this weekend. We’ve had the pleasure of watching the 3rd stage of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. Best of the best gathered from around the world for a chance to win a hefty prize along with eternal bragging rights.
Among the most interesting results where the triumph of Marcio Andre who managed to ouster Edwin Najmi along with Roberto Satoshi! He secured the Male upto 77kg title by way of points winning against Roberto Satoshi. Andre is on quite a tear lately having secured impressive finishes having previously secured the title at NoGi worlds with several impressive performances.
Today Adam Wardzinski made quite an impression! He is among the first Polish nationals to make it to the finals of a major Grand Slam Event At adult black belt! Wardzinski actually just recently even became a black belt. In the finals of the Male upto 94 kg division he met a veteran of the sport Xande Ribeiro who managed to defeat him by way of advantages 4-0.
