Won my submission only match against Travis Newaza with a Kimura. That one was for Adam. These last two weeks have been the worst in my life. My 22 year old student passed away from a bloot clot. I still vowed to come to Iowa to teach and compete and Sunday night I ended up in the hospital. I was violently throwing up for 9 hours. My wife ended up calling the ambulance. Thank God because I was so dehydrated my resting heart rate was 170. I was close to a stroke. I ended up getting two IV bags. I had 3 days to recover and I chose to keep my word and compete and teach my seminar. This was for Adam. Felt you with me brother.
