Serbia’s Aleksandar Rajacic Wins Metamoris Challenger, 10,000$ & Pro Contract

 

 

Serbian BJJ black belt Aleksandar Rajacic, has just won the Metamoris Challenger in Los Angeles this Sunday in the lightweight category. With this victory, he wins $10,000 and has signed a professional contract with Metamoris for 3 more fights, and earned a spot in the 2016 International /challenger Championship.

Rajacic’s great success came thanks to victories in the two qualifying events. First, he passed the qualifications which were held in mid-September then, on the 4th of October at the regional competition, he also was victorious and qualified for the final.

In the finals, 8 athletes per weight division clashed on a LIVE broadcast in the Metamoris Studios in Los Angeles California.

Rajacic dominated his first two fights and had all submissions around one minute. One submission took less than 30 seconds. Rajacic advanced to the finals on Sunday on won by heel hook in 1m30seconds.

 

Rajacic is 31 years old, from Belgrade, Serbia ( instructor at Old School BJJ) and has been training for the past six months in Chicago at Chicago Mixed Martial Arts

Rajacic is no stranger to success in Europe . He was 3rd on IBJJF Europeans brown belt adult division in 2012, Fila European champion and World vice-champion, Naga advance No Gi champion.

Another Serb was also successful. Serbian-American, Danilo Borovic from Comprido BJJ, won the light heavyweight division.
