Nate Diaz Calls Out Dillon Danis: ‘I’m Gonna Get That Motherf*cker’

Minutes after a five-round war with Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz came to the UFC 202 post-fight press conference and
talked about all aspect of the fight.

He called out Marcelo Garcia black belt Dillon Danis, who has been training McGregor for this fight. Diaz is mad at him for being an American helping out a foreigner, acting up during the water bottle throwing UFC 202 press conference.

Dillon Danis is 22 year old black belt from New Jersey. He was given his black belt by Marcelo Garcia who he trains under in Manhattan, New York. He has earned his reputation to a series of incredible wins at brown belt level through some of the hardest competitions around. Here’s what he recently had to say about Conor’s jiu-jitsu:

“These guys who say these things they don’t know who they’re talking about. It’s all people wanting to start stuff up, y’know… Conor can do whatever he wants. ” – 22 year old Danis said

He continued:

“Conor is amazing on the ground man, One submission loss doesn’t mean anything”, Danis then went on to add “I’m having a blast here learning from him and he’s learning from me.”

McGregor only used about 10 seconds of Jiu-Jitsu in the whole fight. He was taken down and was able to recompose to guard.

You can see in this video, Danis in the frontline of the “action” during the press conference:

Diaz stated:

McGregor brought in all these boxers from wherever. And that Jiu-Jitsu coach that he got….I’m going to get that Motherf*cker man. He’s on my hit list. He’s an American and he’s over there representing with them…And then he tries to act up at a press conference like he’s hard?

It is highly unlikely that the two will face off in MMA, as Diaz is way too experienced compared to the still untested Danis.
A grappling superfight is also unlikely. Danis is a world class BJJ black belt, whereas Diaz, also a black belt, has a style of Jiu-Jitsu more geared towards MMA.
