Leandro Lo Set To Leave Team Cicero Costha & Take With Him Number of Young Talents

According to information that has just transpired from Brazil from our partners BJJForum.com.br, the famous black belt 4x world champion jiujitsu, Leandro Lo is about to leave the gym that has brought him to the forefront of jiu jitsu. Lo, is the first big name to leave the now famous PSLPB Cicero Costha (Social Project Fighting For Good) and leaves to form his own team, taking with him some of the most important talents of the Sao Paulo academy.

Leandro Pedrosa, one of the black belts of PSLPB was the first to announce the news on his Facebook, saying in his post that the new team will be called “New School Brotherhood” (the new school brotherhood). Pedrosa is a close friend of Leandro Lo, and also captained the team in Lo’s series of Copa Podio “THE TEAM” in 2014.

Pedrosa was asked a direct question: “Are you forming your own team?” to which he answered “Yes”.

It is said that Lo will take with him some internationally renowned competitors, including Pedrosa himself, Thiago Barros, Gustavo “Braguinha” and even Wellington “Alemao” the newest star of the team.

Leandro Lo is yet to make a public statement on the matter, therefore at this time the details are not 100% clear.

Leandro Lo started practising Jiu Jitsu through the Projecto Social Lutando Pelo Bem (PSLPB) a social project for underprivileged children in 2004, a project led by Cicero Costha.
