FIVE GRAPPLING ARE DOING A BIG THING FOR PROFESSIONAL JIU-JITSU:
ON AUGUST 2ND, 8 OF THE WORLD’S BEST MALE NO GI GRAPPLERS ARE COMING TO SOLANA BEACH!
In Addition to the 8 Women challenge announced a few weeks ago, there will also have 8 of the top Male No Gi Grapplers competing for $17,500 in prize money and the title of Super League champion on August 2nd at Studio 540 .
1st Place winner receives $10,000.00
2nd Place receives $5,000.00
3rd Place receives $2500.00
MALE GRAND PRIX.
This is no gi and matches will be 6 minutes, there will be no advantages, heelhooks allowed.
Confirmed:
– Hector Lombard, Yuri Simoes, Bruno Bastos, James Poupolo, Joao Asis and three more to be anounced.
The award will be of 17’500 dollars for the winning podium, for both men and women.
Women Grand Prix
Gi six minutes, no heelooks.
Confirmed:
– Karen Antunes, Fabiana Borgues, Tami Musumeci, Nyjah Easton, possible but not confirmed 100% Angelica Galvao and Mazkenzie Dern.
SUPER FIGHTS
Super fights are to be announced but we can say that a fight between Keenan Cornelius vs a world champion renowned black belt is in the works. In the second super-fight rematch, you can expect to see two elite athletes, who faced off for the last time in brown belt and it was a decided by the referee..
