[WATCH] Kade Ruotolo Defeats Tommy Langaker, Defends ONE Championship Title

Kade Ruotolo and Tommy Langaker put on a great show at ONE Fight Night 11 last Friday (June 9).
Both athletes gave it their all – with Kade Ruotolo emerging victorious in the end!

The 10-minute match saw Ruotolo constantly trying to pass Langaker’s guard from the top; while Langaker was trying to set up leg attacks from his back.
The Norwegian even managed to get a bite on the heel at one point, forcing Ruotolo to roll across the ring in defense.

Kade then came back with a vengeance however, countering Tommy’s Leg Lock entries with diving back takes, even going for a scary Ankle Lock himself.

The two went back-and-forth in positions, at a high pace during the entire match.
However, in the end, it was Ruotolo who earned the unanimous decision win due to the fact that he was, overall, the more aggressive grappler in the match.

This was Kade Ruotolo’s second successful defense of the ONE Championship lightweight submission grappling title.
He now has a 25-2 record in BJJ competition and is already, as he said in his post-match interview, planning to start competing in MMA by the end of 2023.
