Yes, a cage.
And yes, that actually happened.
The incident unfolded during a matchup between Lucie Drobenka Kotlarova and Regina Labajova in Czech Republic.
As the fight started, Kotlarova emerged from her corner with her hands down.
She then charged forward, attempting to close the distance and engage her opponent.
However, her aggressive charge proved disastrous as she lost her footing and fell forward, colliding headfirst with the cage.
Kotlarova was rendered unconscious due to impact and an immediate stoppage to the fight was instigated immediately.
And, yes, Labajova was declared the victor via KO – despite having never made contact with her opponent.
