Videographer Stuart Cooper on Upcoming Book on his Travels

Jiu-Jitsu Videographer Stuart Cooper is living a great lifestyle. For the past 6 years, he’s been travelling the world training Jiu-Jitsu and filming amazing documentaries. He has just anounced on his Instagram that he is working on a book detailing his adventures.

Slowly started to write my first book on how I travelled the world for 6+ years training BJJ on an extremely low budget financing my travels by making short films on BJJ and MMA. The book will tell stories of every athlete I have ever met and what they were like in person and to train with. Im also writing about every country, city or town I went too and what the experience was like at every place I visited, how the cultures were different, how the people were different, how their way of life and living was different and also how the JiuJitsu was different too 🙂

I had many amazing experiences and i should have some interesting stories to write about. I had some very crazy wild times, met some awesome like minded people and also got myself into some scary dangerous situations that my mum doesn’t know about! ?I have collected pictures and video footage of every place I visited and also kept a diary in case I ever forgot some of the crazy things that happened.

Travelling the world was something I always dreamed of doing since a very young age and I always wondered how I would finance it because I always refused working a 9-5 job. But it was JiuJitsu that helped me accomplish this dream and also made me discover that I had a talent in film making that took me on an unexpectedly pretty wild ride around the world meeting new friends, cultures and most of all discovering a new different way of life and living. I am Still writing this right now so I’m not sure how long it will take as there’s a lot more to come! Starting with this years ADCC in Brazil! Hopefully I don’t get arrested like last time! ? thanks Dean Lister for getting me outta that shit! That was toooo close! And a special thank you to @josarahj17 for giving me the idea to write this and surprising me one day by giving me this amazing professionally made 87 page photo book for my birthday which shows all of my photos from my travels around the globe and the people I met along the way. This was an amazing gift and when times get down I always look at it to remind myself of how much fun times I’ve had!
