Sage Northcutt Moving Up To Welterweight, Looking Huge!

The UFC’s hottest prospect ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt will be fighting as soon January 30 at UFC on FOX 18 in Newark, New Jersey.

Northcutt, 19, is the youngest active fighter on the UFC roster. He is 7-0 in MMA all with impressive finishes. He is 2-0 in the UFC. He is a multiple times world champion in Karate, has wrestled in High School, and is a purple belt in BJJ.

Northcutt will face Bryan Barberena, and this time not at lightweight but at welterweight (his first time). “Super” Sage will have the biggest test of his career against the California native.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently praised Northcutt’s all-around ability he’s been showcasing since coming to the UFC:

“What Sage Northcutt has been showing inside the Octagon is spectacular technique and a wide range of skills,” Rogan said. “We’ve seen lightning-fast kicks and punches; we see a killer instinct; we see a ferocious, young, athletic fighter with a wide skill set.”

Northcutt is a huge lightweight but he looks huge even as a welterweight.
