A match between Kade Ruotolo and Gordon Ryan would most certainly be a spectacular one…
As well as one that a large part of the BJJ community wants to see.
However, it’s questionable when (and if) that match will happen, as Gordon is currently experiencing serious medical issues.
Kade, on the other hand, isn’t holding back on words for his potential opponent.
Here’s what he had to say in a recent South China Morning Post interview:
I mean, those are obviously steroid side effects.
You know, he gets so big and then all those antibiotics just completely wrecked his stomach and other things…
So, to me, I don’t know how you could be possibly talking about…He looks like 200lbs right now, you know?
Kade explains that in a potential matchup against his brother, Tye, it would be effortless:
Right now, if he were to go in a match against my brother, I think it’d be effortless, you know what I mean?
The only thing that makes his Jiu-Jitsu work is his size.
If you look at his body right now, he has the same body type that he had before he took all of these different steroids.
[The way he looked like in] his first fight with Felipe Pena, that’s how he looks like right now, you know what I mean?
