In his boxing debut – and first bout since 2019 – Dillon Danis faced Logan Paul at Misfits Boxing’s Prime Card last Saturday…
And the result? Danis got disqualified for trying an illegal choke in the last round.
But here’s the thing: Danis agrees that there should’ve been a disqualification. It’s just that it shouldn’t have been him who was disqualified.
This Monday, he tweeted that he might challenge the fight’s result with the athletic commission.
He cited “multiple offenses” by Paul:
There was multiple offenses I’ll be submitting my appeal to the commission today. https://t.co/C4rvgx5MOc

The video raised questions whether Paul should’ve faced disqualification when one of his team members entered the ring, after Danis went for an illegal takedown attempt.
The specifics of other “offenses” remain ambiguous and whether Danis will formally appea is still up in the air.
In the meantime, though, he’s been taking it to social media as usually:
You ran from a jiu-jitsu guy for 6 rounds. Every interview you bragged about knocking me out in the first, but guess what? You barely touched me. Give me a proper boxing camp, and considering your pathetic unwillingness to fight, I’d obliterate you. https://t.co/4z7iKl1Ecc

I did worse damage to Logan’s face in a second than he did to me in 18 minutes 😂 pic.twitter.com/w3ljOiwFwa

Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
