Buchecha Aims for Worlds Return, Hasn’t Agreed with Metamoris Yet

 

Marcus Buchecha is Back from his serious knee injury that kept him out of jiujitsu competition since June.

He has confirmed that he is aiming to compete at World Pro in April and Worlds in May.

Buchecha told Graciemag.com that the World Pro and IBJJF Worlds are his goals.

Last week, Metamoris stated advertising a match up between Marcus Buchecha and Roger Gracie despite the fact that they hadn’t reached an agreement with Bucheca and he hadn’t signed up yet. Sources close to Buchecha said that he was asking for money up front:

 

The champion has two competitions in mind for his return: the 2016 WPJJC and the 2016 Worlds. then, he’ll continue his transition to MMA. “I have already started to prepare in Brazil and very soon I will return to California to complete my camp under Leo Vieira, at Checkmat HQ. Then, it’s off to Abu Dhabi to defend my titles.”

Regarding another news that broke this week, Buchecha’s press team confirmed GRACIEMAG.com that he is in talks with Metamoris for a rematch against Roger Gracie, but nothing was signed yet. According to his press team, Buchecha wants the match up, but has not reached an agreement with the event to make the fight happen.

Tim Spriggs who is set to face none other than Ralek Gracie, has also confirmed that he hasn’t signed any contract and had just been asked if he was interested.

Metamoris announced Roger vs. Buchecha as the main event of Metamoris 7, to be held in LA, on July 17.
