BJ Penn Joins Jackson’s MMA Comes Out of Retirement

With a record of 16-10-2 and with 3 defeats in a row, UFC hall of famer, ‘the prodigy’ BJ Penn, is coming back from retirement to  shut up Nik Lentz.
The young man from Texas apparently has pissed off the legend so much, that he has decided to go back to give him a beating. Lentz has a 26-7-2 record and in his last 4 fights is 2-2.

On Wednesday, Penn took to social media in a lengthy post, announcing his plans to return:

“This is a formal challenge for Nik Lentz to meet me in the Octagon March 5th in Las Vegas,” read the post, with a fisted-up BJ Penn in the background. “Nik you wrote a silly poem about me making fun of me, you said stuff about me and my parents, and you been making a #bringpennback hashtag, I ask you today to be a man and back up everything you said, talk the talk walk the walk, uncle BJ is mad already #youout #bringpennback #hiloboys #hawaii #allhawaii”

Penn is now 37 years old, and he retired after a disappointing loss to Frankie Edgar via TKO in July 2014.

In his last 7 fights he went 1-5-1.

BJ Penn has joined Jackson -wink camp and posted a picture to Instagram with famed trainer Greg Jackson and the message ‘We coming !! @ufc @danawhiteufc’.

Greg Jackson spoke to MMAFighting, and stated the following:

“I’m pleased with how the meeting went and very optimistic about the future,” Jackson told MMAFighitng.com. “BJ doesn’t have any specific fight plans, but we have [our own] plans.”
