The ADCC North America Trials were held this weekend in Coconut Creek, Florida.

BJJ black belt Tammi Musmeci, who made the news last year at the Worlds when she didn’t tap to a Michelle Nicolini armbar, won her division and wrote about it on social networks:

 

Today I won the ADCC North American trials in the -60 kg division and earned my ticket to Brazil to compete in ADCC! It’s been my dream to be able to compete at ADCC! I had 3 fights 3 submissions! Big congratulations to my friend @ebontubs for securing the 60+ division! And also to my friend @pichaelmerez for winning his division! Thank you so much to my brother Mikey for helping me so much!!! Thank you also to my friends and training partners! And also to my sponsors @shoyoroll @bullterrierfightgear and @thearmbarsoapcompany @deus_armor
