Over the years the two legends of the sport have met 3 times. Back when Randy Couture first fought against Liddell more than 14 years ago he won the first fight via knockout.
What ensued is one of the cult trilogy fights – and one that’s just received a grappling sequel.
Liddell won the rematch via KO at UFC 52 in 2005. The trilogy match was also won by Liddell, again via KO, at UFC 57 in 2006.
