Ripped Mark Zuckerberg Trains with Israel Adesanya & Alexander Volkanovski

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has sought the assistance of UFC champions to improve his MMA skills. After Elon Musk’s recent training session with John Danaher Georges St-Pierre’s, Zuck is now training with two MMA legends.

On Tuesday, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski shared photos of a very ripped Zuckerberg training with them. Adesanya had just defended his title at UFC 290 over the weekend.

The photos show the three men in training wear on mats, with Zuckerberg’s wrists taped which signifies that he was striking. Zuckerberg showed his gratitude on Adesanya’s IG post, expressing his thanks for the opportunity to train with the pair.

Zuckerberg has become more and more involved with the MMA community. He follows many MMA accounts on social media, and even attended a private UFC event for him and his wife, Priscilla Chan, last year. He also trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and last month, he competed in a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition as a white belt taking gold.

Zuckerberg and Tesla founder Elon Musk recently an online feud which led both billionaires to express their interest in a potential MMA fight in the near future.

Dana White has said that both men were serious about making this happen and that the UFC would propose to host it.

Georges St-Pierre (commonly referred to as GSP) has been seen training with Elon Musk a few days back.
But what was it like for GSP to train with the multibillionaire?

He revealed in a recent UFC 292 pre-fight press conference:

We trained and it was a lot of fun. He is very strong, physically very strong.
Much stronger than the average man. Very tough…

And, I didn’t know it in the beginning, but he has a judo background.
So, it was an amazing experience.

GSP was honored to meet Musk:

He is someone that I’ve admired for years, because of what he’s done and for his accomplishments, for all of the ideas that he stands for.

And for me, it was a dream come true to meet him personally.

It seems like there is a consensus on Musk being a good training partner, as Lex FridmanĀ also trained with him – and had nothing but words of praise:

I did an impromptu training session with Elon Musk for a few hours yesterday.
Iā€™m extremely impressed with his strength, power, and skill, on the feet and on the ground. It was epic.

Itā€™s really inspiring to see Elon and Zuck doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage.

That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likelyā€¦

Iā€™m there for them, no matter what.
