Kayla Harrison Books New Fight – Judoka Set to Fight on New Years Eve

Kayla Harrison is steadily building her mma career. 2x Olympic gold medal winning judoka will face Moriel Charneski in a lightweight bout at PFL 11 on Dec. 31 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Charneski (3-4) is coming off of a second-round TKO win against recent Invicta FC competitor Sarah Patterson. The lightweight division is 155 lbs – as a reminder UFC had a very hard time even finding women for Cris Cyborg to face at 145 lbs.

PFL intends to host a tournament for the division in 2019 and have confirmed multiple participants in the division.

Harrison is 2-0 and has previously fought at 165 lbs.
