How to Throw Ultra Defensive Opponents in Judo & BJJ

In a BJJ match match, you are likely to face a standing opponent that will have stiff arms and their butt far away from you. They use this as a stalling position to avoid getting thrown.

A simple way to to throw an ultra defensive opponnent is to do what Judoka/Wrestler/Sambist/BJJ practitioner Shintaro Higashi does.

He starts by closing the distance by bringing his hips in and using an athletic stance. He then shows various ways to break the collar grip, whic then gives hi total control of his opponent. He can then load up massive throws from there.

These are the things you can practice.
