Champions League recently featured some interesting takedowns. Most notably the final Champions League match between football clubs Real Madrid and Liverpool featured something peculiar.
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos entered a 50-50 challenge with Mohamed Salah. The players collapsed as they tussled for the ball, but Salah’s arm was locked in Ramos’, forcing him into the ground at an awkward angle.
Here’s that Salah challenge again. If you think that was accidental you haven’t seen Ramos play before. He tried to break his arm. Changed the game.

It is widely believed Salah sustained shoulder ligament injuries in the tackle and he is not counted on for his representation match during the summer.
Ramos has issued a statement expressing his well wishes to Salah:
He wrote: “Sometimes football shows you it’s good side and other times the bad.Above all, we are fellow pros. Get well soon Mo Salah.”
El fútbol te enseña la cara más dulce a veces y la más amarga otras. Ante todo somos compañeros. Pronta recuperación, Salah. El futuro te espera.||Sometimes football shows you it's good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros. #GetWellSoon @MoSalah

European Judo Union had a different take on it:
Waki-gatame is a dangerous technique. That's why it is not allowed in Judo to use for transition to ne-waza. What do you think about this foul yesterday evening in the #UCLFinal between #RMALIV? pic.twitter.com/mHmADyG7LB
